Hi ladies. So i had a consultant apt and scan on weds (posted pic last week) and everything looked well. However, my hospital rang me at 8.30am this morning to say my blood results have come back high risk again. I didnt even bother going in to have the dreaded chat with midwives as i know what we have to do. For us the only choice is amnio as i wouldnt relax the rest of the pregnancy if i didnt. The good news isthat the fetal medicine team who looked after us on leigh and alex asked if they could look after us again as they remember our history and we truly are honoured because the specialist rarely deals with patients face to face himself but has insisted. His risks of mc are lower than average too (1 in 200 instead of the usual 1 in 100) so i am happy about being in his care. Im booked in for fri morning. Cant believe this is happening again. Not overly worried as alex was high risk and he was perfect but obv gonna be scared. The waiting game begins . . . .
