Sorry I've not been keeping up with the board recently (rainbow baby keeping me busy!) but have a question for you all.
With our first we announced on Facebook after the 12 week scan as we were so excited but then had to have a TFMR at 23 weeks so had to put that on Facebook too, which was tough. At the time I was glad for the support but also wished so many people didn't know.
Rainbow 1 only made it to 7 weeks but with rainbow 2 we announced around 24 weeks as wanted to push myself to get excited about the baby rather than living in constant fear - it helped a bit to be 'normal' but still worried a lot about telling people.
Now we have another rainbow on the way and just had a good 12 week scan I really want to announce on Facebook soon so I can try to be as 'normal' as possible and get excited about this pregnancy. Friends are starting to announce babies due in May and I so desperately want to have that naive excitement.
When did you or do you plan to announce to the wider world? Hubby thinks we should wait until after our 16 week scan but I so want to tell people. I've not even told most friends that I see face to face just incase the worst happens again.
Hopefully you can all understand the eagerness to be excited and normal but the fear of what might happen.
