Something normal

Tonight I went to my first Daisy Birthing class in an attempt to try and do something 'normal' around this pregnancy and actually calm myself down a bit. It's all based around exercises to help with a smooth birth and relaxation and 'mantras' to help calm the nerves and get rid of any anxieties.


I very quickly realised that this is all easier said than done when you're carrying the weight not only of this pregnancy, but of everything that has gone before. Letting my fears go is going to be very hard, and a couple of times I felt quite emotional, but I'm glad I've started as I need some time to myself focus on this pregnancy as so far I've purposely detached myself from it.


No point really, just needed to share!
