Hi girls. I spoke with the specialist in fetal medicine today for my long awaited amnio results. There is a chromosomal abnormality showing up but they are unsure if it has come from the baby or if it is where the cells grew so slowly in the dish in the lab. He said himself and the genetecist believe that the chance of there being something wrong is low but they need to look into it. They want to do a detailed scan again in 3 weeks time. I am petrified. Im 21 weeks and barely feel any movement and baby hasnt really moved much during my scans but think im just reading into things, naturally. Im so scared. He has confirmed that we are team blue, i just hope we get to bring home a baby brother for alex!! The next 3 weeks are going to drag! X
