Hi ladies
I am pleased to announce the safe arrival of my gorgeous rainbow Sebastian.
He arrived on Monday 3rd February 2014 at 12.35pm via C section weighing a whopping 11lbs 3ozs!
I had gone into my normal assessment appt on the Friday, hoping for a sweep, to find BP up and again ++protein in urine, I was admitted and told they wanted to induce labour. I had the first gel and was hopeful as I was 1cm dilated with a soft cervix, but 3 gels later that rained the same. A midwife also told me (thankfully) that in her opinion id never deliver unassisted, and that baby's head was no where near engaged, therefore not helping the gel, and she felt it was not passing through and advised me to refuse the 4th gel and get a section as she felt that would happen anyway. I did and after a rise again in BP I was booked in for the following day!
Sebastian arrived quite shocked, but not as shocked as us with his weight! He was like a celebrity in hospital everyone wanting to see him! I am physically getting there! We were discharged today, and so far so good although breast feeding has been a nightmare as I have no milk and he's very hungry! Gonna need mummy advice from you all!
