Has been a sad week. Father in Law passed away, he has has prostate cancer for a while but the doctors thought it was being managed by treatment. He went in to hospital last week for an operation on his knee, while he was there they did a scan and discovered his tumour had spread and another tumour in his liver. They tried to operate but he never recovered. He was a lovely man, really warm and gentle and gave me a lot of support when we lost Felix. We got to visit him just before he passed away to say goodbye, although I don't know if he knew we were there. Husband is devastated, I'm just so glad we have a healthy Hazel safe inside as the hope of new life is what is keeping him going at the moment.

My sister also went into Hospital on the same day, she has a rare autoimmune disease, not much known about it but her immune system is attacking her organs, it started off with her lungs but it now looks like it has started to attack her heart as well and her nerves are begining to die. They have had some success in America treating it, but she hasnt been responding to the drug treatments that are pretty nasty in themselves. I'm so worried about her.She is amazing, so positive and she keeps me going. So need to stay strong for her and for husband.

Sorry that I haven't shared in good news here or been able to offer support. I will still be here lurking and will post when I feel able, but don't have the words at the moment. xxx
