14wks tomorrow and I am off to London for the first anomaly scan on this baby. Have to wait til 3.30 though!!
When I was 14wks in March, sadly Beau was sucking his thumb so they couldn't see the most obvious physical abnormality which denotes the syndrome...a bilateral cleft lip. And they said to come back at 16wks, in April, when everything and more was found.
Tomorrow, if they can't see for the same reason then I will be asking to stay and getting them to rescan until they get a good look at baby's face. They can only say 'no' but will have a tough time pushing me off the bed right?!
Scared...an understatement...hopeful....please please let this be our turn and we can have a normal normal scan!
