I haven't been very active lately but used to be in the last 2 years so I thought I should probably update anyone who remembers my name.
I am 17w5d with a rainbow baby after losing 2 babies to HLHS and a miscarriage in between. We were given a potential 50/50 chance of HLHS again so obviously were terrified leading up to the scans.
Well we had our cardiac scan on Friday and everything looks perfect. We're now down to a less than 1% chance of evolving hypoplastic left heart (if the heart stopped developing now) but the cardiologist said it was highly unlikely. Those odds are SO much better than 50%!
We have another cardiac scan in 4 weeks and if that's looking good we'll be signed off the special care (that will save us a 9 hour round trip to Melbourne for each appointment 
)
It actually is starting to feel like we're going to take a baby home this July!
