BA

So started having very slight contractions Saturday night..... no biggy so slept like a baby. 8am Sunday I was woken up by contractions coming every 8-10 mins apart. Had this till 3pm then waters broke so went up to hospital. Had internal and she said you have a long way to go your cervix is still closed and up be induced Sunday at 10pm. So went to mums and had shower and within 2 hours contractions were every 3mins lasting 1min 14 secs so went back in agony. Had internal and which I screamed through and was 5cm dilated. This was at around 5pm. Started on gas and air and they took me straight to delivery where I carried on just gas and air. By 7pm I felt I needed to push and couldn't control myself. I was screaming at this point and I mean screaming. Baby's heart dropped very low as I just couldn't push him out. I had no gas and air at this point and was doing it all on my own. They took it away as I wasn't pushing hard enough. Doctors came rushing in and I knew they were panicking. They used vacuum assisted delivery to help baby out. Although they cut me had an extended tear. All without pain relief let me say! It was pure hell!!!!!! Then baby went funny colour which made me panic like hell. They took me to theatre where I had a spinal block to fix my fanny back 😩

Breastfeeding has been a nightmare so they given him a bottle to top him up an he's finally settled! Il try again when I get home. He pulled my canular out so blood everywhere and baby was screaming I just am so tired. I'm so paranoid I can't sleep and keep checking him. We named him Brody George Bannister and he's perfect. I am in total love with him and just so glad labour is over. It's been agony. Thank you so much ladies for all your support throughout you've all been amazing. I can't wait to hear all your BAs and will be sticking around that's for sure 😘😘😘😘 xxx
