Those whose angels have had previous heart defects

When you were pregnant with your rainbow did you have the babies heart checked by a cardiologist or just by a consultant or sonographer? I've turned down the option to have the heart checked by a cardiologist and have already had it checked by a consultant who said it appeared fine. I've just been reading the nhs website which says only 50% of heart defects are picked up in scans so now I'm worrying thinking I should have had it checked by a cardiologist as I'm sure they can pick up more problems. The cardiologist who checked out angels heart at St. Mary's hospital in Manchester had loads more equipment and she checked every single detail. I'm sure that's probably still an option for me as I'm only 17 weeks.


I'd just like to know what others have done xxx
