Update on Lyla

Hi Ladies...i know a few of you have been asking about Lyla so i thought i would post on the main board.


So i dont know if you remember we found out Lyla had spina bifida at our 20 week scan..she had her back repair surgery at less than 24 hours old this has now healed nicely..she went for her MRI scan on the 23rd of august which would tell us whether she would need a Shunt or not..well after nearly 4 long weeks waiting for her resuls we found out today that she will not need a shunt we are over the moon and cant quite believe it as they were all so certain she would need a shunt...anyway she is doing absolutely amazing and has been rolling from her belly to her back since she was 8 weeks old..she is now 11 weeks and i cant believe how fast it is going.
