We have a healthy boy aged 6 called Jack. Two years ago we were expecting again though didn't go as planned.
We had a TFMR in September 2014 following diagnosis that our second baby had Spina Bifida Myelomeningocele and Hydrocephalus. This was the hardest decision of our lives and one I don't think i will ever get over :-(
Since then Ive been on Folic Acid 5mgs daily and after discussing TTC with my husband, we eventually decided to try again and to our surprise we got pregnant straight away!!
Im 6+6 and feeling so scared right now. I hope and pray we have a rainbow baby but i can't help but worry. Im going to speak to my GP next week and see if he could forward referral to consultant i was under two years ago as i hope they will keep me under more regular review this time, which might ease my anxiety and fears.
ohhhhh and something that really freaks me out is the fact that my due date is 8th January, which was same due date for my baby two years ago.
My first born was due 7th January 2010 but had him a week early on 30th December 2009.
I would love to hear stories of people who after TFMR had healthy rainbow babies!!!
