My little rainbows arrived xxxx
Miss Sophie Louise, arrived 3rd Jan 2016 at 11.35am weighing in at 8.5lb.
My Waters literally popped just as I went to bed last night at 11pm and then contractions pretty much took over and I was at 5 min regular ones within the hour. Was having a great labour as dilated to 9.5cm within 4 hours but then it all went a little bit pear shaped
Sophie was back to back and my contractions slowed right down so they had to put my on a drip to try and pick things up and get me to dilate the last 0.5cm
Then unfortunately little Sophie got a bit stuck and started to struggle so at 10.30am this morning i was taken into theatre for a spinal and they firstly were going to try and turn and deliver her by foreceps and if that didn't work then a CSec would have been required. Fortunately the foreceps worked and we now have a very healthy happy baby girl.
Can't thank the staff at Musgrove, Taunton enough for bringing our little lady into the world safe and sound
