so as you probably already know I was taken in on Saturday at 37+2 after 4 episodes of reduced movements they decided they wanted to induce me to be safe.

They started me with a pessary Sunday morning which stayed on 24 hours, then moved on to a 6 hour gel. I was then examined to be found just 1cm had a 12 hour break then more gel at 6.30 Tuesday morning which started to work instantly I contracted steadily till 2pm then 3cm so they decided to move me to labour ward to break my waters but I was at the back of a waiting list to be moved.

Contractions then stepped up a gear and I asked for some pethedine had it around 3pm contractions now blooming painful. About 3.30 I felt a trickle and had a bleed called the midwife he said it was a show but would examine me to be sure, was found to be 8cm and said we need to move you to delivery NOW quickly rushed me through the corridors to labour was (I was on a bed thank god) waters went whilst rushing through the the corridor, doors to the deliver room shoved open....out came her head, just got through the door and she was out.

I was basically in (established) labour for about 3 mins.

Very dramatic but the best labour I've ever had she practically flew out, the poor midwife didn't have time to put his gloves on to catch her.

1 small tear and a tiny graze

Having trouble with Breast feeding as she poss has tongue tie, also we need to see an audiologist as didn't get a clear hearing test on her left ear which to be honest I'm really not too worried about after everything we've been through to get this little rainbow I'm just glad she's fit and healthy if she has a little loss in one ear we will deal with it.
