hi all!
Today I had my 20 week scan and thankfully it went really well!i was a bag of nerves all day as appointment was 4pm .Our consultant went through everything and when it got to the heart I literally couldn't look (last time our baby had 4 defects) ..he went over and over and told us he could see 4 chambers and the the blood flow looked good and plumbing also..this was a huge relief!he said he was 99.9 %sure all was perfect with the heart but as im only 19 weeks he wants to look at it again in 4 weeks just to be 100% but he reassured me that this is normal and he thinks it's perfect.Of course that made me worry a little but I am trying to remind myself that he told us we have a perfectly healthy baby and we should be very happy!We are going on holiday tomorrow so I'm looking forward to a stress free break!first one since we lost our angel in January ..im glad we have that milestone reached now at least..looks like we will be bringing our pink bundle home after all !here's hoping the next part goes well til we get to v day!sending you all good wishes on your pregnancy journeys!!
