Sorry self indulgence getting it off my chest post, but what a week, I've became poorly just before I went to my OH's cousins wedding a little over a week ago with a bit of a tummy bug. I kind of got through the wedding but things got quite bad for me Sunday night as I had terrible stomach pains and was passing blood. Took myself to docs on Monday who kindly told me to give a stool sample (yuck) and then got a call from the docs on Friday to say I'd been infected with E. coli !!! So I spent Friday getting myself checked over by the doctors and over and hour on the phone to the public health department as they wanted to know the ins and outs of my eating and travel habits over last 2 weeks, which was useless getting that info out of me as I have utter baby brain at the moment!
So so stressful, been panicking like anything about bean although doc don't seem to think any harm should come as there's no evidence that babies are affected by these sorts of things.
I have my 20 week scan this Thursday so I'm praying everything is ok but it's also been a little reassuring as over the last week or so I've start to feel my little pink rainbow bean move which is rather lovely as never to to feel my angels :)
