Breech baby in an akward position...

Hi there,

Had a scan today to check my baby's position (she was found breech last week after being head down from week 24). I'm 37 + 3 today and it was very dissapointing that she is still breech. Not only that but she has got one leg extended to her face and the other folded (difficult to see it properly). For that reason I was told today hat doctors may not do an ECV to help her to turn...

I'm not sure whether I would like to do the ECV now... I'm scared for her legs... what if she gets some kind of damage in her legs just because I want to have a normal labour? Wouldn't be better if I go straight for a safer alternative and book a cesarean section, which in theory would be better for both of us? What it's more important that I have a normal birth (no matter how are her legs after an ECV like that) or her safety? Am I being reasonable?

Doctors will call me tomorrow (or so they say) to tell me if they'll do the ECV like that and when... but still not sure about what's best...

Also, I'm a bit down... had planned so much about birthing in the birth centre using aromatheraphy, water...etc... I feel a bit egothistical. I think I'm coming to terms with the idea of a C section but I just want to have my baby safe here now...
