possible blood clot in lung :/

I started getting a lot of chest pain yesterday and finding it hard to breathe, I rung my midwife who said to phone the maternity assessment unit. They told me to go to a&e then come up to the wArd. So after being monitored in a&e heart breathing bloods ect everything come back normal. I then went up to the maternity unit and got assessed there too including an other ecg, urine, breathing, checking where pain is right around my ribs. nothing came back as worring, I expected to get home.


Then the doctor came back said just to be cautious were going to keep me in as I was showing signs of a possible blood clot in lung, which can be higher in pregnancy! I was shocked so I had to get a blood thinning injection which I now need to get every 12 hours until they can determine if clot or not. If I do have a clot I nred to inject myself at home :(


So I went up to the ward lastnight my oh couldn't stay but brought me in some food. The midwifes are lovely which is nice to know for September lol. So I've just been down to the day room for some breakfast and a cuppa, just wating on them to put something in my lungs so it shows up clearer on scan to cheak for clot. Anyone had this?


Baby was completely fine during this moving about and when her heart was beingchecked she kept on kicking the probe it was sore lol.


Any experience?
