Had our A/S today at 20+5, and all went well -- it just took forever! We got to the hospital at 9am and didn't leave until 1.
The scan itself took a lot longer because Twin 2, the girl, wouldn't cooperate. She was leaning against the sac membrane so it was impossible to see the skin on her spine. We ended up having to go to my antenatal appointment and then come back for attempt #2, which was fine, but just reminded me of how things had played out with James. It was almost exactly the same. Except this time, when we went back, she had flipped over to show off her spine, and all looked fine.
She was yawning while she lounged, so she clearly takes after me. And Twin 1 was kicking her in the beginning, so to get her revenge, she was sitting on his face for the second half of the exam, which was hilarious. Including a picture of that.
Just need to get to V-Day now! A little more relieved though, and finally happy to announce it to everyone.
