Local anaesthetic...???

Hi ladies, I haven't even introduced myself... I got my bfp laat Friday and have been lurking on here for a while.

I need to go into hospital tomorrow to have a very infected abcess drained under either local or general anaesthetic. Im a bit nervous about medication etc while pregnant. Has anyone had anaesthetic while pregnant? Im a bit worried...
