So after attempts to turn him and even yoga attempts to turn him, theo decided to sit stead fast in breech position and I was told that i would need a caesarean at 39 weeks.

So on morning I went down for 8am, i was first in line but emergencies kept putting me back, eventually it was my turn at 12am.

was really scared about the surgery, I've never had to stay in hospital let alone have surgery. My hubby was a ball of nervous energy which wasn't helping, he wasn't over joyed about going into theatre as he hates watching me even get needles Smile

went in and got the spinal block boy does it work fast..... once i was frozen my hubby joined me in theatre. he was white as a sheet.

the surgeon said that he was going to make a check to see if the block had worked, then I heard a whoosh and them laughing as all they could see was theo's bum, 5 mins later and me and my husband meet our perfect little boy,

I never felt a thing, not even the tugging people mention. Apart from the embarassing bed bath following the procedure was easy.

the recovery took little over 1 and half days to get me on feet, still can't reach my feet at times when pain killers are running low but i'm feeling remarkably well.

and theo is just adorable, even at the 4am feed when he wants to play instead of taking his bottle.
