so appointment this morning just left me feeling upset as I kinda feared.
Consultant was running an hour and 15 min late for starters, she made no apology for it. She then just sat us down and said so what can I do for you?? Which p'd me off should it not be me asking that question!!
Anyway went on to say that mw made appointment presumably because of history.....at which point she looked at me blankley, so I let her sweat it and she had to fumble through my notes to find out what I was referring to. Clearly she hadn't bothered to read my notes before despite running so late.
She then just threw stats at me, stressed that screening isn't 100%, asked about postmortem which we didn't get with angel as we were told as T21 was diagnosed in cvs there was no point.....
It just goes on......so basically have just felt drained today and feel like the wind has been taken out my sails. I know my care so far has been good compared to a lot of you girls so coming across a bad egg was bound to happen at some point. Just annoyed that someone could be so insensitive when I'm so late on in my pregnancy.
Going to complain to mw and doctor but need to refocus and put it behind me.
My OH mentioned I was wheezy and had been using my inhaler, she jumped on that and put notes in saying I might not be able to go to natural birthing centre at hospital because of it.....if that happens I will be furious. Got appointment with docs to rule out chest infection but just think it's a cold coupled with squished body makes me wheezy at nights. I am asthmatic but it only bothers me if I have a cold.
