Just looking for a bit of advice. One of the women in work has just announced that she may have scarlet fever as the creche where her son goes had an outbreak and they both have sore throats now. She won't go home even though she's clearly sick. Nobody knows I'm pg yet, even my boss, as I'm only 6 weeks today. I read that scarlet fever isn't too dangerous to pregnant women but the fever they could get with it could be (high fever in early pg can cause NTD's which is what my angel had which is why I'm so worried).
I'm actually so mad with this stupid woman. She's putting everyone else in the office at risk with her selfishness. I really hope I don't catch it. Does anyone have any experience with scarlet fever? Any advice? Should I tell my boss I can't be around her or is that being a bit over the top?
