Ladies who lost their first?

HI guys,

maybe you can shed alittle light for me here, I lost Kyo at 16 weeks and she was my first.

This pregnancy seems to be being treated as a 2nd pregnancy, is that normal?

I haven't met my midwife, no one has given my MAT B form, my booking midwife hasn't asked me to go for measurements at 25 weeks etc, although my GP seemed to think I would be.....

Is this normal? Shouldn't it be treated as a first with all those checks when I hadn't even a bump last time? My body has never gotten this far, how can an awful pregnancy that went wrong be considered my first?
