Hi all. So i was booked in for induction yesterdaybut there has been a shortage on beds and sooo busy that i wasnt brought in til 4pm. As i arrived there was a delivery on the ward which delayed things and i wasnt seen til 7pm.
Got examined and was 3cm and contracting irregularly on my own so bypassed the propess pessary and given the gel instead. After 6 hours was examined and told i didnt need the next lot of gel as contracting good on my own and just waiting for a bed in delivery suite to have waters broken. That was 2am. I am still waiting and been told im 3rd on the list to go up as they are so busy. Contracting every 3 mins and no pain relief. Its been a long stay already!! Theres nothing more they can do for me here so continue waiting . . . Thanks for reading x
