Hi ladies,
After my good scan on Monday things went a little downhill yesterday. I had a bleed and managed to get a scan appointment the same day. They spotted a 'small membrane separation' which I think is the membrane attaching the uterus to the sac but we are going to call and check today as it was all a bit rushed and stressful yesterday.
Good news is that the baby looked fine and heart beat is strong (I'm 14 weeks 2 days). More difficult news is there is no treatment so I have been signed off work for 10 days and just advised to take it very easy. I have to go back for another scan in 2 weeks and see if it has gotten worse or if it has started to heal. I have been told to expect more bleeding but only to worry if I get pain as well.
I am trying to stay positive and keep everything crossed it will heal and not harm the baby. Have any of you ladies come across this before and have any advice/reassurance to offer?
Xx
